Dairy Milk Marvelous Creations: Jelly Popping Candy Shells

Dairy Milk Marvelous Creations Jelly Popping Candy Shells is a new chocolate bar released by Cadbury. The story behind this is that I saw the advert of this product on TV and really wanted to try it. It's a childish product but I sort of like those types of sweets.

After eating this chocolate I have mixed feelings about it. It was nice but there are a few drawbacks to the product. For example, The jelly sweets get stuck in your teeth, which is something you don't want in a sweet as it usually means you have to spend time un-sticking the sweets from your teeth. However, the candy shells were a nice addition and offered a nice contrast to the soft Cadbury chocolate.

I kinda liked this chocolate but because of the sweets

Iron Man 3 Review

Warning: Spoilers!!!

Put simply, Iron Man 3 is awesome.
Firstly, I will admit there might be a bit of bias to my review because I am a massive fan of the Marvel cinematic universe and Marvel comics in general so going into this movie I was really excited.

Iron Man 3 has so many good things about it. one of these things is the fact that it takes place after the events of the Avengers, where Tony fought aliens and nearly died, therefore at the start of this movie we see the how that affected him psychologically. We also see a side of Tony that we hadn't seen yet in the previous movies.

Another good thing about this movie is the twist that happens in the middle of the movie involving the mandarin. Some hardcore fans may have not liked this twist but I did. I credit this as being one of the best things of the movie. What made this twist even better is that the marketing for the movie indicated that the Mandarin was the main villain when in fact it was Guy Pearce's character. So that made the twist a good surprise.

The ending was yet another awesome part of the movie. It was big and exciting. Although the ending wasn't as big as the avengers, the ending was amazing on a technical level by showing us Tony jumping in and out of the various suits. Even though the movie ended on a somber note with Tony giving up the ark reactor in his chest, the implications will probably be shown in another marvel movie with Joss Whedon, the director of Avengers 2, saying that Tony will be featured in the next avengers movie.

I give this movie a

Daredevil #26 Review

Daredevil #26 Review
WARNING: SPOILERS

This is my first comic book review and my first daredevil review. So I guess I should catch people up on what I think of this series so far. Basically, I love it! I've been reading comic books, seriously, for about a year and a half now and I credit that to this series. It's Mark Waid's amazing writing that I will always thank for getting me into comics.

As with the rest of the series, this issue was amazing. Issue 26 is special, not just because it was larger than usual because of its two year anniversary but because of the fact that it gave us a big reveal. In this issue we find out who's the villain that's been terrorizing Matt Murdock since issue one (Bullseye). People familiar with Daredevil history will know that Bullseye died in the Shadowland story line. This made the reveal really exciting and a big twist. Another great part of this issue is the portrayal of Matt's paranoia such as the man in the office and the syringe. The issue becomes very thrilling when you find out that he was right to be paranoid. In general, the progression of the story is perfect.

Issue 26 also includes a really nice back story featuring Foggy Nelson in hospital. This was another great addition to the issue as it showed us a look into the imaginations of children in the marvel universe and those suffering from cancer.

Lastly, what made this issue even better was Chris Samnee's beautiful art. His art stands out because of its simplicity and the way the panels are structured.

As this is the first review I'm posting I want to start the blog on a high.
I give this issue a

Statement of Intent

I want to start of by explaining what this blog is.
Basically, it's a review blog.

However I intend to do something different with my reviews which is keep them simple and keep them fun. There is little place for deep analysis here. It's simply about whether you should spend your money and time on a product or service.

At this point I guess you're wondering why the word "Random" is in the title. Well, the simple answer is that I want to review everything and anything, from movies to food. One week I might review Iron Man 3, next a comic and them maybe some food.
